Here are two versions of a pin-up from a comic that I´m working on for White Eye Productions.
This title is called Top Sekret and in the issue I´m working on features the porn star / former WWE wrestling girl Tylene buck. It´s written by Lawrence White and I´m in charge of pencilling and inking.

Here is Maiku Miraa. If you who are infront of the screen are studying japanese with Minna No Nihongo book, or you´ve done it, this name is very familiar to you.
I´m about to prepare a couple of short funny stories using the characters of that book. Here´s a preview / desing of its main character : the american bussinessman Mike Miller.
My version is a completely change of the original character, with some references to Eikichi Onizuka and with a extremely change of mood and behaviour : now he is a bad and nasty motherfucking son of a bitch! :D

He aqui a Maiku Miraa. Si ustedes que estan frente al monitor estan estudiando Japones con el libro Minna No Nihongo , o lo han hecho, seguramente este nombre le es familiar.
Estoy a punto de realizar unas historias cortas en plan humorístico con los personajes de dicho libro. Y que mejor manera de darle un adelanto / diseño de su protagonista : el empresario americano Mike Miller.
Mi versión es una deformación del personaje original, con ciertos guiñes a Eikichi Onizuka y con un caracter bastante diferente : el de un hijo de una gran puta! :D
Que lo disfruten. Ya en otro momento subire a otros personajes, y cuando este listo, subire tambien el 1er número. Sayounara!
This is a little homage that I made for mi most preciate sci fi serie, Max Headroom.
It´s just a simple sketch that I made in my spare time.
For those who don´t have a clue of what the serie was about, here I write down a short summary.
Max Headroom takes place in the year 2004, a near future (take into account that this serie was shot in 1987) where humanity is dominated by TV and ratings.
Each episode starts with the phrase "20 minutes into the future", which I think it was a kind of metaphor making reference to the fact that the situation takes place in a very near future. Besides, twenty minutes is the medium lenght of most TV shows.
Rich people live in high crystal and iron towers, and the poor ones live down the streets between rats and piles of TV sets.
It wasn´t a very bright future the one showed here, and ironicly there were several aspects and ideas shown that became reality some years later.
Edison Carter (the guy with the camera on the draw) is the ace reporter of Network 23. While he was searching some clues about a case that involves the very own network where he works in, Edison suffers an "accident". Network 23 wants to know how much Carter knows before he wakes up.
The solution to this dilema? : A computer-generated Carter is made in order to know how much information he got before the accident.
Unexpectly, this digital version of the reporter takes life of its own calling himself "Max Headroom" (the last thing Carter saw before falling closely to death was a sign that read "Max Headroom 2.3").
Max is pure data, he can switch on and off from one TV or computer screen to another in seconds, saying some sarcastic remarks and true facts that make lots of people unconfortable.
All episodes talked about different topics of the Cyberpunk genre : violent sports, hackers, satellite hijacking, organs and body bootleging, publicities showing subliminal messages, corporations buying people´s dreams in order to show them on the screens, etc. Too many good scripts for a show of that era.
Extremely ahead of its time. If you got the chance to watch it, you won´t regret it.

Este es un pequeño homenaje a mi más preciada serie de Ciencia Ficción, Max Headroom.
Es tan solo un boceto que hice en mi tiempo libre.
Para quien no sepa de q iba la serie aqui les hago un breve resumen.
Max Headroom se situa en el año 2004, un futuro muy cercano (tengan en cuenta que la serie data de 1987) donde la humanidad esta gobernada por la TV y los ratings.
Cada episodio comenzaba con la frase "20 minutos en el futuro", lo q era una especie de metáfora en la cual se hacia referencia a que la situación se desarrollaba en unos pocos años en el futuro; y además, veinte minutos es la duración aproximada de algunos programas televisivos.
La gente adinerada vive en altas torres de hierro y cristal y los pobres en las calles entre ratas y montañas de TV.
No era un futuro muy brillante el q se nos mostraba aqui, e ironicamente se mostraron muchos aspectos e ideas q se hicieron realidad.
El reportero Edison Carter (el sujeto con la cámara en el dibujo) es el reportero estrella de la Cadena 23. Al investigar un caso en el q esta involucrado el propio canal en el q trabaja, Edison sufre un "accidente".
La cadena 23 desea saber cuanto averiguo Carter pero sin q éste despierte.
¿La solución ante este dilema? : Se genera una version digital de Carter para averiguar cuanta información registro.
Para sorpresa de todos esta version digital toma vida propia apodandonse "Max Headroom" (lo último q Carter vio antes de caer al borde de la muerte es un cartel con la inscripción "Max Headroom 2.3", Max Headroom significa "Altura Máxima").
Max es pura información, puede aparecer en cualquier monitor de PC o TV, soltar verdades y mensajes sarcásticos q incomodan a varias gentes.
Los capitulos tocaban temas típicos del género Cyberpunk : deportes violentos, hackers, saboteos satelitales, venta de organos y partes humanas, publicidades con mensajes subliminales, corporaciones q compran sueños ajenos para proyectarlos, etc.
Demasiados buenos guiones para una serie de ese tiempo. Demasiada adelantada.
Si tienen la oportunidad de verla, no se arrepentiran.

This draw was originally made two years ago and it appeared on a short story. I just inked it and gave it some color.
Anyway, I think it looks nice and cute.
Aqui tienen un trabajo que hice como muestra para wallpapers de celulares. Sinceramente, no me importa para nada el día de San Valentín.
Este dibujo fue hecho hace dos años y aparecia en una historia corta que hice. Solamente lo entinte, y le di un poco de color.
Sea como sea, me parece muy bonito y simpático.
That´s right. From February the 2nd to April the 2nd I was unmasculated. That´s what I felt during that period.
My computer motherboard died. It was a horrible experience, taking into account that my computer is my tool of work, contact to the world, amusement, etc.
Thank God I have a new machine. Now, you know why I was out for so long.

Así. Desde el 2 de Febrero al 2 de Abril me senti castrado. Eso es lo que realmente senti durante ese período.
El motherboard de mi computadora murió. Fue una experiencia horrible, tomando en cuenta que mi computadora es mi herramienta de trabajo, de contacto con el mundo, de entretenimiento, etc.
Gracias a Dios, tengo una maquina nueva. Ahora saben porque estuve ausente por tanto tiempo.
A partir de ahora : Gambara Nake Reba!!!! :D
