Inking & Coloring

Here´s Shannon. She´s the main character of a comic-book called Lady Knights "The Killer Show”.
I´m in charge of pencils and inking work. This is an IK Comics title and is written by Lawrence White.
This is just a sample test that I made in my free time. I painted it with Photoshop. I like how it looks ^_^

Esta es Shannon. Ella es la protagonista de un comic llamado Lady Knights "The Killer Show”.
Estoy a cargo de los lapices y las tintas. Este es un titulo de IK Comics y está escrito por Lawrence White.
Esta es solo una prueba que hice en mi tiempo libre. La pinte con Photoshop. Me gusta como se ve ^_^

New Inking Style Test

Hi there. During these last weeks I´ve been trying different inking tools and techniques.
This is one of the first samples that I tried with this new inking style, and I can say that I´m very happy with how it turned out.
The lines are more modulated, elegant and delicate. Just what I was looking for. Something similar to manga inking style.

Hola a todos. Durante estas ultimas semanas he estado probando nuevas herramientas y tecnicas de entintado, puntualmente deje de usar rotuladores y ahora uso plumín y tinta china.
Este es uno de los primeros dibujos que intente entintar con este nuevo modo, y puedo decir que estoy muy contento con el resultado. Las lineas quedan más moduladas, elegantes y delicadas. Justo lo que estaba buscando. Algo similar al entintado usado en el manga.

Street Fighter Postcards

Here are a couple of postcards of Street Fighter that I made at the beginning of this year. They´re sketch draws with a bit of color.
I didn´t want the artwork to look clear. No clear lines.
Alex is my favourite character in SFIII. Great design and great moves. He can kick any shotokan ass any time he wants to.
Ken was one of my favourite players in SFII. I like his facial expression in this work.
I posted both pin-ups some time ago in a Deviantart account that I used to have. I wasn´t very confortable with some of their policy and rules, so I closed it.
Anyway, here they are again. :D

Aqui tienen un par de tarjetas de Street Fighter que hice a comienzos de este año. Son solo bocetos con un poco de color encima. No quise que se viera un dibujo limpio. Nada de lineas limpias.
Alex es mi personaje favorito de SFIII. Excelente diseño y movimientos. Él puede patearle el trasero a cualquier shotokan cuando quiera.
Ken era uno de mis personajes favoritos en SFII. Me gusta la expresión de su cara en este dibujo.
Habia posteado ambos trabajos en una cuenta que tenía en Deviantart. No me sentí muy cómodo con su sistema de políticas y reglas, asi que cerre mi cuenta allí.
De todas formas, aqui están nuevamente. :D

Heroes Unlimited

Between May and June I was called for preparing one page for a comic book called "Heroes Unlimited". Here´s the page that I made. I really like the way it looks.

Entre Mayo y Junio me llamaron para hacer una página para un comic llamado "Heroes Unlimited" Aqui está la página que hice. Me gusta mucho como quedo.

Gods & Guns

Here are a couple of pages that I´ve doing for a new comic publishing called IK Comics.
This comic that I´m working right now is called "Gods & Guns", is written by Anghus Houvouras and the editor is Lawrence White.
I´m doing pencil and inking work. Color is made by a talented guy named Amade.
Soon I´ll post some new samples in color. :D

Aqui tienen un par de páginas que he estado haciendo para una nueva editorial llamada IK Comics.
Este libro en el que estoy trabajando se llama "Gods & Guns", está escrito por Anghus Houvouras y el editor es Lawrence White.
Estoy a cargo de los lapices y el entintado. El color es cortesia de un talentoso artista que usa el seudónimo de Amade.
Pronto postearé algunas nuevas muestras pero en color :D

Chibi / SD Artwork

This illustration was made for a manga that I made for a manga contest in Europe. I didn´t win but it´s ok.
Midori is not one of the main characters but I like this Chibi (or SD) illustration. She´s saying "Hi" to viewers.

Esta ilustración la hice para un manga que prepare para un concurso de manga que se llevo a cabo en Europa. No gane, pero está bien.

Midori no es uno de los personajes principales pero esta ilustración -en estilo Chibi or SD- me gusta. Está diciendo "Hola" a los espectadores.
